bon jour! i mean hola. so french isnt as useful in spain as it was in morocco but at least mimi and jill are here and there is some english spoken. i am very glad to be in spain but i do miss life in morocco. i made some great friends and the food was soooo good... much better than in spain.
we got into madrid the 19th and spent 4 days wandering around, seeing incredible art, drinking in plazas, not getting cat called every block. the good life. i did get my wallet stolen which had no euros in it since i am a poor college student and am living on free breakfasts and grocery store runs. luckily im with two friends and my parents are very helpful and sweet.
we are now in barcelona and will leave for granada on friday. there is a fc barcelona vs. manchester united game tonight which should be a real cultural experience. hopefully we will find a good bar and some good company. more to come soon.
